Let’s Stretch the Palette!

  • Jul 25, 2014

Starting tonight with a crisp and delightfully tangy Vermentino, then moving to a 94 Point Macedonian wine with two new grapes to the vocabulary, Vranec and Plavec. The nose is all black fruit additional aromas of cocoa and maintains a rich and fruity structure. Finishing up in Wake Forest with the latest Black Slate wine from the La Vilella Alta vineyard in the Priorat region in Spain. The South facing parcels get the heat and the North facing parcels enjoy a little cooler climate and together they combine to make a remarkably soft and ripe wine. The Black Slate line has had some of the best wines we have ever had in the six year existence of Wine 101. Please come and taste. Oh, and all three of these wines are 30% OFF!!

Cheers!
